The Dog Rescuers

ABBY-HUMAN an 8 yr old little girl who is small for her age and always mismatched and “scruffy”. ABBY is a “latchkey kid”, where she has to let herself in after school, since her parents work late every day. She is lonely and BULLIED for her circumstances, but her world has new purpose, when one day a little dog shows up on her porch out of the blue. She ends up having great adventures as she is unsuspectedly being trained as a dog rescuer by her new furry guest. She gives him just the nickname KIDDO, in case she finds his real master someday and has to give him back. She finds her strength and herself along the way.
